Open Plan EnSuite Loft Conversion Bathroom Bedroom, Brighton Sussex, Interior Design

Designing a mature, open-plan ensuite bathroom for a young couple in a roof conversion requires careful consideration of space, functionality and style. By incorporating unique design elements and making the most of the available space we have created a warm and inviting bathroom that perfectly complements the overall aesthetic of this bedroom.
One of the key design features of this open plan space is the absence of doors separating the bathroom from the bedroom. This design choice creates a seamless flow between the two spaces, allowing the couple to enjoy a sense of openness and connection. It also maximises the perception of space, making the bathroom feel larger and more spacious.

Open Plan Connection

The use of warm terracotta tiles adds a touch of sophistication to the bathroom. The earthy tones of the tiles create a cosy and inviting atmosphere, while the uneven texture adds visual interest. The warm hues of the terracotta also contribute to a sense of warmth and comfort, making the bathroom a welcome retreat for the couple.
The inclusion of double sinks is both luxurious and practical. It allows the couple to have their own designated space and promotes harmony and convenience in their daily routines. The double sinks also add a touch of understated luxury and sophistication, creating a spa-like vibe.
In a roof conversion, space is often limited and as demonstrated here, we have made the most of every inch of space, creating the illusion of spaciousness, working with, rather than against the sloping ceilings that dominate most loft conversions.
